Get your tamales! Living Waters Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser for Honduras
The Cooperstown Living Waters for the World team is sponsoring a tamale fundraiser for Honduras. Tamales are available BY PREORDER ONLY, with pickup on Thursday, May 5, from 4:00 -6:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church. For $25, you will get 10 delicious fully prepared tamales to-go, ready to take home for dinner or to put in your freezer for an easy lunch later in the week. (Tamales make a perfect Mother’s Day brunch!) Choose from four different fillings: chicken, pork, vegetarian green chile queso, or vegan red bean— feel free to mix and match your 10-pack in sets of 5. Not sure what a tamale is? Support this great cause and find out what you’ve been missing!
All proceeds go toward maintenance and supplies for our clean water installations in our partner villages in Honduras, which have been severely impacted by severe weather events and the pandemic. To preorder, send an email to tamaleslww@gmail.com with your name, phone number, and tamale order. You’ll receive a confirmation email or return message. Payment can be made via Venmo, or cash/check at time of pickup.
NOTE: Our tamale makers will make a limited number of tamales. Preordering is open now until April 29 or we run out of tamales, whichever comes first.
