  • First Presbyterian Church - Cooperstown, NY 25 Church Street Cooperstown, New York 13326 United States (map)

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021: Communion will be celebrated; Dedication of the One Great Hour of Sharing offering; Preaching, Rev. Gregory Mobley (Visiting Professor of Interpretation of the Hebrew Bible in Congregational Settings – Yale Divinity School); Alexandria Shiner, soprano; The First Presbyterian Church of Cooperstown.

Prior to the COVID-19 precautions against large group assemblies we held our worship Services on Sundays from 10 AM to about 11 am. Now, as precautions transform, we join again in a group of no more than 50 to worship in the Sanctuary with masks, proper distancing, no singing or coffee hour, but plenty of joy and fellowship. Please call the church office to reserve a place. 607-547-8401. Additional seating available in the chapel with livestream of service.

We usually meet in the the Sanctuary year-round, except for special services. Christian Ed offerings for kids during worship during the school year. Children are released from Sunday morning worship early in the service for Sunday School. Many activities in a comfortably small, village church. Very diverse congregation of teachers, health care providers, retired folks and young people. Mission and service focus- locally and abroad. Open and affirming, we welcome all. We are delighted to have Rev. Ed Townsend as our Interim Pastor and Faith Gay as our Pastoral Intern. Presbytery of Utica, PCUSA.
